The killer Saab 96.

This Saab 96 has been modified -- a lot.

V6 from a Euro Ford, twin turbo chargers, fender flares, air dam, rear whale tail, oversized wheels, big brakes, racing seats, the works. It's even got a bank of audio equipment in the rear in lieu of a seat! To fit all of this stuff into the 96, the owner relocated the radiator and battery to the trunk with some side scoops for air intake.

Even though the 96 lived through the 1970's in Europe, the original car was designed in the very early 1960's. This take on it seems thoroughly modern, in a retro design way. Something like a 'new' VW Beetle or one of those Toyota FJ Cruisers.

Enjoy!
